Dolanog Cafe and Bed and Breakfast (Fully Licensed)
My aim is to make my guests feel welcome and comfortable throughout their stay. We are a fully licensed Bed & Breakfast and tea room (open to the public as well) which offers hot and cold snacks. Dolanog is a semi-rural area and stands in an area of outstanding natural beauty
Entrance to the guest rooms is through the front door into the main hall which has chairs and a unisex toilet. The hallway is big enough for wheelchair access and assistance is available on request. All floor areas in the house are wooden and apart from the staicase are even.
The Tea Room which is for the general public and guests and seats 8 people and over looks panoramic views of the hillside.The raised terrace is adjacent to the tea room and can be enjoyed by guests and the general public. Access for the public is via the back entrance only and again the terrace overlooks the beautiful Welsh countryside.

There is ample off-road parking and secure garage lockup (for storing bikes etc)
There is a staircase up to the first floor which has an open gallery and large picture windows to enjoy the view of the countryside, listen to music or read a book, there is seating for 4 people.

On the ground floor there is a large lounge for guests with seating for 12 people and is well furnished for your comfort.Theres also a small fully licensed bar with Worthingtons Bitter and Carling Black label on Tap, other drinks can be arranged on request.
On the first floor there is one double bedroom with on-suite shower/toilet/sink, colour TV and tea making facilties and has beautiful views overlooking the open countyside.
The Family Suite consists of a double bedroom with colour TV and tea making facilities and enjoys the same views as the other double bedroom. It also has a single bedroom and private bathroom.
There is a large lawned garden at the rear of the property which is accessible down a slope with garden furniture for guests to sit, read or listen to the birds singing or simply take in the panoramic views of the welsh hillsides. The owner is available to assist whenever possible, just ask.
There is very little mobile phone signal in the area but a telephone is available on request, please ask for details.
This is a NO SMOKING establishment.
There is no public transport except a post bus which goes a round trip to the local villages picking up passengers to go to the nearby town of Welshpool which is 12 miles away. The nearest train station is also in Welshpool and we can arrange for you to be picked up, please ask for more details.
Its a great base to explore the Welsh countryside, towns and villages and ideal for walkers, mountain bikers, golfers, birdwatchers, outdoor pursuits or just generally enjoying the peaceful countryside.
